It started with a search for a sports bra...not in a store, but on a screen. 

 

Women’s athletic competitions are still woefully underrepresented in sports coverage. In our struggle to find places to watch our favorite athletes play, we imagined a different kind of sports bar: one that reflected the athletes that we look up to and that look like us. We are inspired to promote role models for young athletes, to put pressure on broadcast networks and leagues to support women athletes, and to bring people together. The sports bra is a powerful symbol of our shared athletic history and the future we hope to create: a new kind of community organization, Modern Sports.
